Sr. ServiceNow Developer
Location: Remote with some travel

TechnoLava has an opportunity for a Sr. ServiceNow Developer to join our client's talented IT Services team. The successful candidate will have fluency in ServiceNow development principles that enables them to work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices. You will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform and must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities.

*This position allows remote work with some travel required to the client site.

Responsibilities: 
  • Deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System, and Applications.
  • Build custom applications leveraging the ServiceNow platform
  • Perform discovery work sessions to determine the solution requirements
  • Perform design work sessions and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams, etc.
  • Apply Agile software development practices for customizations to the platform and applications
  • Implement the Core System including integration components (LDAP, Discovery, MID Server, etc.)
  • Provide support, technical consulting, and mentoring
  • Assist customers with understanding ITSM, ServiceNow, and Agile approaches
 
 QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS
  • 5+ years of experience on the ServiceNow platform
  • Ability to interpret business processes, document requirements and deliver solutions
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and CSS
  • Basic understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Basic understanding of IT operations
  • Experience working directly with internal customers and external clients
  • Experience in responsive design
 
OTHER DESIRED SKILLS
  • ServiceNow Developer and Administrator Certification
  • ITIL Foundations Certification (or greater)
  • Experience building Configuration Management Databases (CMDB)
  • Agile software development practices
  • Experience with Angular scripting language
  • Experience dealing with technical end-users in a support role
  • Experience with web-based integrations, including LDAP, AD, SSO, and Web Services
